The very first Forgotten Children Center opened in July of 2004, close to the capital of Dhaka. Boppy & Beauty are the house parents who live with and care for 29 children. They have three support staff that cook, clean and tutor the children. The children's ages range from 4-14 and come from all different backgrounds, but with one common thread: their families were not able to provide for them, and there was nowhere else to turn.
Of the 29 children who live full-time in the center, only seven are currently sponsored! Although the children's expenses have been covered in the short term by one-time gifts and the general budget, we have a tremendous need for people who will financially support these children for the long term.
Please consider supporting a child today. For $1 per day, you can invest into one child's life forever. We also need to fund the house parents and support staff who have given their lives to love and care for these children. You can sponsor a staff member for $100 per month.
