Bangladesh Forgotten Children Center #2:
Dinajpur Home

The second Forgotten Children Center opened in 2006 in the northern region of Bangladesh, in a village near Dinajpur. This center houses 17 children and 5 caregivers, including house parents, cook, housekeeper and tutor. Bangladesh Youth First Concerns (BYFC) own offices on the same land. They hope to purchase farm land that is right next to theirs so that the children will learn how to farm the land and benefit from growing their own crops.
Of the 17 children who reside at the home, just six are currently sponsored. The center can hold up to 30 children, but support needs to be raised before they can allow more children in the home. Although the children's expenses have been covered in the short term by one-time gifts and the general budget, we have a urgent need for people who will financially support these children for the long term.
Please consider supporting a child today. For only $1 per day you can invest into one child's life forever. We also have a need to provide funding for the house parents and support staff who have given their lives to love and care for these children. You can sponsor a staff member for approximately $3 per day.
